Jack’s Time
My father in-law is one of the most talented souls on this planet. The artwork that he has produced over his life time could probably fill a modest sized museum easily.
He has practiced and perfected the use of such a wide range of mediums in his 55 years as a professional artist. It is easy for anyone to see this by simply browsing his online gallery at www.JacksTime.com.
His experience also stretches as far as film and digital arts which have more recently become a large part of his creation process.
Despite all of Jack’s work being deserving of recognition, I really want to take a moment to mention his Time Art, which depicts the gameplay and results of various sports such as (but not exclusive to) football, soccer, baseball and curling. The most intriguing part of his Time Art is how it represents game information in not only an aesthetic but methodical and visually enlightening manner.
He’s created videos explaining how to read his art, which are quite simple to understand, as well as a compilation of Football games from 2010-2012 to give depth to his conceived sport Timeline.
With basic knowledge of the sport at hand, anyone can simply look at a game Table or Storyboard and see the game’s events unfold.
